The training aims to develop road safety action capacities in the countries where the candidates work and networks of expertise and collaboration in French-speaking African countries. The skills acquired must enable candidates to take appropriate organizational measures and informed decisions to contribute to improving road safety and implementing effective policies.
The training, which targets an audience of around 30 trainees by session in order to ensure interactivity and close supervision, initially consists of personal work conducted remotely followed by a one-week face-to-face session. It covers the major themes related to road safety: road safety management, infrastructure, vehicles, users and post-accident responses.
Registrations generally take place between July 1st and September 15th, distance learning begins in November and the face-to-face session takes place around April. The next one will take place in Benin from April 1st to 8th, 2025.
