ICTAAL
National instruction on technical design requirements for rural motorways
ICTAAL is the technical reference document for the designing of motorways in inter-urban areas, which are divided carriageway roads with at least two lanes in the link sections, with gap-graded junctions, isolated from their surroundings.
The document indicates the general principles to be taken into account when preparing new infrastructure projects or improving the existing network and provides the basic technical rules related to definition of geometric elements of the planned infrastructure.
