Following the publication of the book « Accessibility in 11 European cities : a collection of practices for people with disabilities », Certu and CNFPT held a day of discussions on September 27th, 2011 in Montpellier, on the theme : « Cities and accessibility in Europe ».
The day provided an opportunity to present the lessons learned from the study, taking advantage of recent developments in the field reported by five European speakers.
It allowed the representatives from French local authorities, present on the forum or on the floor, to interact with their foreign colleagues.
